Reminder Connecticut: Minimum Wage to Increase on January 1, 2025
We wanted to remind Connecticut employers that the minimum wage will increase from $15.69 to $16.35 per hour starting January 1, 2025.
For tipped workers, the minimum cash wage will remain the same:

- Service employees (such as waitstaff) will continue to receive $6.38 per hour.
- Bartenders will continue to receive $8.23 per hour.
Employers must ensure that the total earnings (including tips) meet or exceed the minimum wage of $16.35 per hour.
