| New Jersey | New Jersey has updated its Conscientious Employee Protection Act (Captive Audience) posting to its offering. |
| New York | On February 19, 2026, the New York City Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) released an updated Notice of Employee Rights under the Earned Safe and Sick Time Act, now referred to in the notice as the Protected Time Off Law. The revised notice reflects structural updates, including 32 hours of unpaid Protected Time Off that are immediately available at the start of the employer’s calendar year, continued accrual at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, and a separate 20 hours of paid prenatal leave annually. Whether accrued leave is paid or unpaid depends on employer size and income thresholds. All NYC employers must post the updated notice and provide it to employees in their primary language at hire and whenever rights change. |
