Vensure Goes Gold: Building a Stronger Community through Philanthropy and Corporate Responsibility

At Vensure Employer Solutions, we believe that philanthropy in the workplace is a powerful catalyst for positive change within our organization and the communities we serve. In observation of September’s Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we proudly launched our Going Gold campaign, demonstrating how corporate responsibility and employee engagement come together to make a meaningful difference.

Philanthropy in the Workplace: More Than Just Giving

Philanthropy in the workplace is about cultivating a culture where employees feel connected to causes that matter. It builds unity, enhances workplace morale, and drives community impact. With this spirit, Vensure’s Going Gold initiative set an ambitious goal: to raise $25,000 for CureSearch, a national nonprofit focused on accelerating safer, more effective treatments for children battling cancer.

To encourage workplace giving, our leaders infused fun and creativity around the initiative. They voluntarily accepted pies to the face after donating and challenging coworkers to join in. These moments sparked laughter, fostered a sense of teamwork, and amplified employee engagement around the cause. Every donor earns a Vensure Cares badge that can be redeemed for additional paid time off, demonstrating how corporate responsibility aligns with rewarding employee participation.

Vensure’s Going Gold efforts continue with activities throughout October, culminating in a celebration at our Chandler office in early November featuring games, prizes, and opportunities to connect.

Choosing Causes That Resonate

At Vensure, we know that impactful philanthropy starts with causes that resonate with our people. Through our Vensure Cares committee—comprised of passionate employee volunteers—we focus on initiatives around health and wellness, education, and community development. Partnering with CureSearch was a natural fit, as childhood cancer affects many families within our extended Vensure community.

Personal stories, like that of VensureHR President Kara Childress, highlight why this cause matters: “My daughter, Emma, was diagnosed with cancer at 14. The fight was tough, but with advocacy, information, and community support, she’s now thriving in college, inspired to become a nurse. Emma’s journey fuels our commitment to supporting childhood cancer research.”

Vensure employees have shared over 70 stories to date, demonstrating the deep connection our employees feel, which reinforces why philanthropy in the workplace is so vital.

Corporate Responsibility That Drives Real Change

Philanthropy is woven into the fabric of Vensure’s culture and corporate responsibility strategy. We understand that workplace giving is a two-way street: it creates opportunities for significant community impact while empowering employees and enhancing overall workplace morale.

Our partnership with CureSearch exemplifies how focused philanthropy accelerates research, funds critical clinical trials, and brings innovative therapies to young patients sooner. Together, we are turning the gold ribbon, a symbol of childhood cancer awareness, into hope for countless children and families.

Join Vensure in Making a Difference

Philanthropy is a collective journey. We challenge other organizations to consider the benefits of rallying their teams around causes that matter. Employee engagement and community impact grow when teams unite with a shared purpose. We welcome you to share your own success stories of workplace giving and corporate responsibility.
